Journal of Language, Literature, and Culture

Kadaura: a multi-disciplinary journal native to the Department of Nigerian Languages and Linguistics, Kaduna State University, is pleased to invite scholars and researchers to submit their original scholarly articles and well-structured book reviews. The journal encompasses a wide range of disciplines, focusing on Nigerian Languages, Linguistics, Literature, and Culture. As a biannual publication, Kadaura aims to provide a platform for sharing insightful research and thought-provoking discussions. Accepted contributions will be featured both online and in print, contributing to the scholarly discourse and academic advancement.

Call for Papers

articles

Essays

should be original and well-researched. They should not be more than 12,000 words in length.

Research

should present new research on a topic related to Hausa literature, language culture and all relevant areas of Hausa studies. They should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length.

Book Reviews

should critically assess a recent book on a topic related to Hausa literature, language, culture and any facets of Hausa studies. They should be between 1,000 and 2,000 words in length.

How To Submit A Manuscript

The Editorial Board is therefore interested in articles not published as well as research reports on ongoing projects on all aspects of Hausa studies. Manuscripts are accepted in Hausa and English.

All submissions should be single space typed, and should not be more than 10,000-12,000 words. Submission should be forwarded to The EDITOR, KADAURA: Journal of Hausa Multidisciplinary Studies, Faculty of Arts, Kaduna State University, PMB 2339, Kaduna, email: editor@kadaurajournal.com with a non-refundable assessment fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5, 000) only.  

The American Psychological Association (APA) style using the author’s surname year and page number (where necessary) incorporated in the text and given in parenthesis is the acceptable reference style
